Subtraction

Reception have really enjoyed subtracting this week.

They learnt how to subtract practically with groups of objects.

Reception loved the challenge of scanning QR codes to find subtraction number problems. They recorded their answers on post it notes.

 

The Children have also enjoyed learning about Islam, they designed their own front covers for the Quran and decorated prayer mats.

 

Everyone was really excited to go to the new library opening and use their new library cards to borrow a book.

At the end of the week Reception learnt all about Chinese New Year and decorated their own red money envelopes and received a lucky coin to take home!
